The Role of the Territory Manager:
- Become an expert in all therapy areas, focusing on infusion pumps, vascular access, safety software & pain management portfolio.
- Educate customers on the uses of their medical devices and consumables.
- Sell to NHS, Procurement, Infection Control, EBME Departments, Head of Departments & Clinical Leads.
- Use account management to grow business within existing accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with clinical nursing and technical teams to identify training needs and maximize customer experience.
- Work with NHS Acute, Private, and Alternate site accounts to maximize revenue and profit.
- Supported by a team of 8 Clinical Nurse Trainers and 2 Field Service Engineers.
- Covering East Midlands and East Anglia regions.
The Ideal Person for the Territory Manager:
- Experience in infusion pumps sales or related medical capital equipment/solution sales.
- High knowledge in infusion therapy areas and health issues related to the portfolio.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical disease states.
- Experience in delivering system solutions involving hardware and consumables.
- Understanding of procurement-led sales processes.
- Knowledge of surgery and anesthesia health issues.
- Ability to analyze and interpret commercial data.
- 'Can do' attitude, team player, autonomous, self-motivated, positive, innovative.
- Degree educated preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
