Role Overview

As a Surgical Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients in the London area, including hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. You will leverage your clinical knowledge, sales expertise, and interpersonal skills to promote and sell our portfolio of surgical products. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-impact role where you will make a direct difference in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, and procurement teams to drive product adoption and exceed sales targets.
  • Product Demonstrations & Training: Deliver in-theatre demonstrations, hands-on product training, and ongoing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal product usage.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies; share insights to shape product positioning and sales strategies.
  • Sales Planning & Reporting: Create territory-specific sales plans, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and provide timely reports on activities, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Operate within company guidelines, adhering to all relevant healthcare and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven Sales Experience: A track record of success in medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, or a related healthcare field. Experience in surgical/theatre sales is strongly preferred.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with operating room protocols and surgical procedures, plus the ability to communicate product value to clinical teams.
  • Strong Communication: Confident communicator, capable of influencing decision-makers and effectively training clinical professionals.
  • Self-Motivated & Organized: Able to manage a busy schedule, prioritize tasks, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education & Licenses: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Business, or similar) is preferred. A valid UK driving license is required.
