Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager in the Guildford area to drive new business in LPG and heating oil solutions for domestic, commercial and agricultural customers.

You will identify opportunities, visit sites, and build relationships with decision-makers while managing leads and sales processes end-to-end across the territory. A competitive package with commissions and a company vehicle is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with customers and decision-makers.
• Experience within LPG, energy, fuel or utilities sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate quality sales leads across the territory.
• Visit businesses to understand requirements and promote services.
• Build relationships with prospective customers through consultative sales.
• Gather accurate customer information and follow up on opportunities.
• Record leads and sales activity in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Visit customer sites to complete surveys and support the sales process to completion.
• Plan daily routes to maximise time, mileage and lead generation.
