We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Account Manager to join the successful Performance Materials business unit in the Univar Solutions sales team. This is an office-based role in a fast-moving and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work with an agreed base of customers, proactively targeting new customers, and collaborating with Sales & Product Management on core products within the portfolio to achieve targeted growth.
Reporting to the Area Business Manager, your role will be to grow your territory by effectively cross-selling our product portfolio across diverse industries, increasing market share with existing customers, and acquiring new clients. This area offers growth potential in various challenging industries.
A self-motivated individual passionate about sales and building strong relationships with internal teams and customers. Our diverse product range supports sales in the Performance Materials sector, including Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers, Rubber & Plastics, and Lubricants & Metal Working Fluids industries in the UK. We offer products from global brands leading in these areas.
You should demonstrate a drive for sales and customer development, be organized, and able to work effectively at all organizational levels. Prioritize tasks, take ownership, and act decisively. You should be positive, inquisitive, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have sound commercial acumen. A proven track record in sales or a related commercial role is essential.
