Job summary

Belvedere Junior School are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join their support time. The role is term-time only (39 weeks/year) and runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:20. It is a fixed-term contract until August 2027. The post involves working with teachers and SENDco to support pupil learning and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant in primary education.
• Ability to support pupils including those with additional needs.
• Strong collaborative working with teachers and SENDco.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and SENDco on identified priorities.
• Contribute to pupils’ learning and development across the curriculum.
• Meet with staff as needed to discuss pupil progress and plan training.
