GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is seeking a dedicated Access to Work - Support for Learning Worker for St Bartholomew's Primary School. You will assist with teaching tasks, provide mobility support for the teacher, and prepare learning resources to enable effective classroom delivery.

The role emphasizes care for children and adults, teamwork with staff, and flexibility. PVG disclosure will be required before formal appointment, with a commitment to a diverse and inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience of working with additional support needs; training provided.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Provide high standard of care, stay calm under pressure, be empathetic and reliable.
• Willing to undergo training for complex healthcare needs.
• PVG Scheme membership or update check required before offer.

Responsabilités

• Support daily tasks of a class teacher to assist teaching and learning.
• Provide mobility assistance for the teacher within the school.
• Prepare and adapt class resources and materials as required.
• Ensure resources are organised and ready to support learning.
• Undertake other duties within the role profile as agreed by head teacher.
