Job summary

Glasgow City Council and Arms Length Organisation is seeking to recruit Support for Learning Workers to support pupils with additional support needs across ASL, Primary and Secondary sectors. Most posts are 27.5 hours per week during term time.

Successful candidates will provide care and support, assist with medication administration and intimate personal care, and help pupils access the curriculum in a safe, inclusive learning environment. PVG checks and future pay structure changes apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to children while building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour.
• Support with the supervision and administration of medication and intimate personal care.
• Assist with activities to enable access to the curriculum for pupils with additional support needs.
