Job summary

Aspire Academy Trust in Bude is seeking three Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Poppy Class. Two roles are 26 hours per week, and one role is 32.5 hours per week. The posts are term-time only, plus two INSET days, and offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027.

The school is looking for pro-active, flexible colleagues who can think on their feet; safeguarding of children is essential and intimate care may be required. DBS checks and vetting will apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Ability to supervise lunchtime and breaktime.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Poppy Class with daily teaching activities.
• Support pupils with individual needs as outlined in EHCPs.
• Supervise lunchtime/breaktime and assist with intimate care where required.
