Job summary

Quinton House School in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate English teacher to join Blenheim Schools' family. You will deliver engaging English lessons, developing GCSE language and literature skills and potentially A‑Level teaching for some pupils.

Qualifications

A degree in English or a related subject.
QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
Ability to teach GCSE English Language and Literature; A Level teaching desirable.
Strong literacy, communication and critical thinking skills.
Excellent classroom practice and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality English lessons across GCSE and A‑Level where applicable.
Support student progression through effective assessment and feedback.
Contribute to wider school life through enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support literacy and learning across the department.
