Uppingham School is recruiting for an additional School Nurse to bolster the Health Centre, delivering day-to-day clinical care, health promotion and safeguarding for pupils and staff across the school community.

You'll be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, working 36 hours per week over 33 weeks per year on a four‑week rolling rota, including early, late and night shifts, in a boarding environment that supports holistic, relationship-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Experience in a school or community setting is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical support within the Health Centre.
• Deliver health education and early intervention.
• Support safeguarding and health promotion across the school.
• Work across shift patterns including early, late, long day and night shifts.
