Job summary

Ridgeway Primary Academy, part of Primitas Learning Partnership, is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee children during the school lunch break and to support play activities. The role is part-time and term-time only, with a start date ASAP, and will involve promoting safe, orderly lunchtime routines.

The successful applicant will work with staff to ensure children are supervised before, during and after lunch, assist with dining room setup and contribute to a positive lunchtime

Qualifications

• Supervision of children during lunch periods.
• Ability to encourage good manners and safe behaviour.
• Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before, during and after their lunch break.
• Encourage healthy eating and good table manners.
• Summon help in case of illness or injury and report any concerns.
• Organise play activities and assist in setting up/clearing dining room equipment.
