Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Wayland Academy, Watton (Thetford) to perform a variety of food production tasks, food service on tills, and general cleaning. This role is term-time only with 30 hours per week from 8:30am to 2:30pm, across 38 weeks per year, starting 4 September 2026.

Your key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of tasty food, following Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas clean,

• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all students and school staff
