Job summary

Kellan Group (including Berkeley Scott and Xpress Recruitment) currently have a permanent School Kitchen Porter role in Cirencester. You will work daytime term-time shifts, assisting with food prep, serving meals to students and staff, and keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

Experience in catering helps, but is not essential. A current Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to obtain one; weekly pay and holiday accrual are provided, with agency support across various school catering

Qualifications

• Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
• Experience in school or contract catering (desirable).
• DBS certificate required or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
• Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
