Job summary

Caterlink is recruiting a Chef at Outwood Academy Kirkby to ensure nutritionally balanced, tasty meals for students. The role is term-time only, 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, at £13.00 per hour.

You will prepare, cook and present food to required standards while following Food Safety and Health & Safety policies. You will also support inventory control and budget monitoring, and assist your line manager with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and service in a school or catering setting.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to follow standards and maintain paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• To ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• To support the location operations, inventories, budgets, and action plans.
