Parkwood Primary School in Lewes is seeking a reliable housekeeper to help keep corridors, toilets and shared areas clean and well presented throughout the day.

You will be part of a familiar school team, working during daytime hours, and you will follow COSHH and safeguarding guidelines while returning furniture to storage and keeping spaces tidy and safe. Full training will be provided and the role offers term-time hours in a friendly school community.

• Able to work independently and prioritise tasks within established hours.

Responsabilités

• Keep corridors, entrances, communal areas and shared spaces clean and free from clutter.
• Check toilets regularly, clean them and restock essentials.
• Return furniture and equipment to proper places and organise storage areas.
• Deal with minor cleaning needs and spillages following school procedures.
• Spot hazards or maintenance issues and report them.
• Use cleaning products safely and keep them out of reach of children.
• Keep walkways and emergency exits clear and safe.
• Follow health, safety, infection control and safeguarding procedures.
