Job summary

Hampshire County Council is seeking a School Crossing Patrol to help children and families cross roads safely at busy school run times, at designated crossing points in Ringwood. This rewarding role provides visibility in the community and supports road safety.

You will work 10 hours per week during school term time, typically one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon. A uniform is provided, and you will join a valued team making a real difference every day.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for responsible, reliable individuals with a strong commitment to road safety.
• Demonstrate good traffic awareness and the ability to stay alert in all conditions.
• Calm, approachable manner and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to use basic IT systems.
