Job summary

The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking a dedicated School Crossing Patrol Officer to help children and families cross safely at designated points during busy school start and finish times. You will work term-time only, outdoors, and receive training and ongoing support from the Road Safety Team to build community safety and confidence among residents.

Responsibilities include supervising the crossing, monitoring traffic, and forming positive relationships with pupils, parents and road users

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required or to be obtained.
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents and road users.
• Flexibility to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic and make safe, timely decisions.
