Job summary

Lewis Cleansing Limited is seeking reliable School Cleaning Operatives to join the team at Offmore Primary School in Kidderminster. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, hygienic learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Hours are Monday to Friday, term time only, 14:45–18:00. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work and a positive, professional approach to school safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other communal areas within the school premises
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high hygiene standards
• Empty bins, replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels, and restock cleaning materials as required
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and other janitorial tools
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks and hazards
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the designated supervisor promptly
• Maintain a tidy storage of cleaning supplies and equipment in designated areas
• Adhere to school policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols.
