Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a School Cleaner to join Team NPT at Maesmarchog Primary School. The role is term-time, 13.5 hours per week, and currently temporary until 31 December 2026 or until the post holder returns.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness to ensure a safe learning environment. A full induction and training programme will be provided; Welsh language skills are not required. Salary is £13.27 per hour, with LGPS pension and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school.
• Ensure pupils learn in a clean and safe environment.
• Follow induction training and health and safety procedures.
• Report issues to the AMS Operations Manager as required.
