Job summary

Dorset Council is seeking a responsible cleaner to join our facilities team at the Winterborne Whitechurch Primary site. The role runs 4:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks), 2 hours per day, total 10 hours per week, plus 10 hours in the summer break to support a school deep clean.

You will clean designated areas, use standard tools, empty bins, top up consumables, move light furniture as needed, and report maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to a high standard using mop, brush, duster and vacuum.
• Empty litter and manage waste according to policies.
• Top up consumables and inform when re-orders are needed.
• Move furniture as required to access all areas.
