Job summary

City of Doncaster Council is seeking a School Chef for Burton Road Primary School, Doncaster. The role is permanent, part-time (25 hours per week) during term time plus 6 additional days, with working hours 08:15–13:15.

You will head a kitchen team to prepare healthy meals, supervising staff and maintaining high food-safety standards in a commercial setting. DBS check is required; closing date is 23 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage a kitchen team.
• Commitment to healthy, nutritious meals for school pupils.
