Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Catering Assistant for school-site duties in Milton Keynes. You will support our kitchen with basic food prep and help ensure smooth lunchtime service.

You will work Monday to Friday during school term time, 20 hours per week, at £12.71 per hour. Training is provided for tills and health and safety practices, with DBS disclosure as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Team player and thrive in a busy school lunch environment.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction: operate tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service: deliver friendly and polite service to students and staff.
• Essential support: assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining standards: keep the kitchen safe, clean and compliant with health and safety.
