Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant to cover schools in the Plymouth and Tavistock area. The role involves food production and service during term time, with shift hours from 9:00 to 14:00, 10–20 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

The role is term-time only (38 weeks per year). An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role, with opportunities to develop through Caterlink’s learning programmes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and have daily access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks.
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state.
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• Transporting food in own vehicle to another site.
• Working alone to serve lunch.
