Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Lynn Grove Academy, Great Yarmouth, to perform food production tasks, food service on tills, and general cleaning in our schools. This role is term-time only with no weekend work and offers flexibility.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 2:30pm, for 38 weeks per year, earning £12.71 per hour. An enhanced DBS check will be obtained. Caterlink provides learning opportunities, employee discounts and wellbeing services.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all students and school staff
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
