Job summary

Bournemouth Collegiate School is seeking a passionate Rugby Coach to join our sports department and help develop rugby across the School. The role is term-time only, ~16 hours per week, with potential to combine with a boarding role and contribute to a vibrant school life.

The successful candidate will coach pupils of various ages, support fixtures and foster a positive, inclusive rugby culture while maintaining safeguarding standards and working collaboratively with the Sports Department.

Qualifications

• Passion for rugby and coaching youth.
• Experience playing or coaching rugby.
• Ability to communicate with pupils and build relationships.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging rugby coaching sessions for pupils of varying ages.
• Support development of players and teams, improving technical and tactical skills.
• Prepare and coach school teams for fixtures.
• Attend fixtures, including occasional weekend commitments.
• Promote participation, sportsmanship and respect.
• Collaborate with Sports Department and uphold safeguarding standards.
