Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is recruiting drivers for the Passenger Fleet Team to transport vulnerable adults and children to school and activities across depots in Leicestershire.

Role requires minibus entitlement and a clean driving record; DBS check is required. Term-time hours may apply with potential for additional shifts, and flexible working options are discussed during selection.

Qualifications

• Must have a Driving Licence with minibus entitlement (D1) or D - Full Driving Licence (pre-1/1/1997) or post 1/1/1997

Responsibilities

• Transport vulnerable adults and children to school, day centres and activities.
• Ensure passengers' wellbeing and safe travel at all times.
• Maintain records and complete worksheets with clear, neat handwriting and numerical accuracy.
• Work from depots across Leicestershire and support flexible working where offered.
