Job Description

Upper Preschool Room Leader (Level 3+) - Bexleyheath DA6 - 5 days a week, 8:30am-4pm - ASAP start - £12.50-£13 per hour

This beautiful nursery is seeking a term-time only Upper Preschool Room Leader to join their friendly team. The nursery features a purpose-built setting, private gardens for each age group, and access to a Forest School area, supporting children’s development indoors and outdoors. Excellent transport links are available, with a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away.

Responsibilities
  • Taking charge of a key group of children
  • Delivering rich learning opportunities and providing exceptional care to support children’s development
  • Planning and delivering effective care, teaching, and learning activities
  • Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of children
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, carers, and other professionals to meet individual children’s needs
  • Utilizing assessments effectively to reflect the needs, interests, and developmental stages of children
Candidate Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Commitment and passion for delivering outstanding childcare
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding policies
  • At least 2 years of room lead experience
