Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for enthusiastic Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioners to join Trusted nursery teams in Edgbaston on a term-time basis.

Roles are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, offering consistent hours and opportunities to develop your Early Years career within a supportive agency.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
  • Paediatric First Aid - desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient and positive approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Create engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Plan and participate in activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
  • Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and stage of development.
  • Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
  • Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.

Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 & Level 3 - Edgbaston

Aspire People are delighted to be working with a range of reputable nursery settings that are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.

We have a variety of opportunities available on a term-time-only basis, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate Early Years professionals looking for a consistent working pattern while developing their career in childcare.

THE ROLE
  • As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5 years.
  • You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential.
