Job summary

Wells Cathedral School is seeking a School Nurse or Paramedic to deliver high-quality healthcare to pupils and first aid to the School community. The successful candidate will be NMC/HCPC registered with at least 2 years post-registration experience, and capable of handling paediatric care and mental health considerations.

Responsibilities include clinical care during term-time, out-of-hours cover as required, and contributing to safeguarding and pastoral support.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC or HCPC as appropriate.
• Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
• Experience in first aid and paediatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically effective nursing care and first aid to pupils.
• Deliver healthcare services to the School community and assist with pastoral welfare.
• Support safeguarding and child protection screening as part of employment.
