Job summary

GLL is seeking a Nursery/Child & Family Practitioner for its Children's Centres team in London. You will plan and deliver Stay & Play sessions, provide indoor/outdoor EYFS learning, and run safe creche activities for parents attending courses.

You’ll build warm relationships with children and families and support diverse needs including EAL. Responsibilities include ensuring wellbeing, collaborating with partners, and promoting inclusive, welcoming services across community venues during

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and partners.
• Experience planning and delivering play-based learning aligned to EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Stay & Play sessions to support development and independence.
• Provide indoor/outdoor EYFS-aligned learning environments.
• Deliver safe creche sessions for children whose parents attend courses.
• Supervise and support children's wellbeing and learning in all environments.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to serve local families.
