Job summary

Lancashire County Council's School Catering Service is hiring a Mobile Catering Assistant for Rossendale, Blackburn and Burnley areas. You will help prepare and serve meals, support kitchen and cleaning duties, and contribute to a positive lunchtime experience for pupils.

The role is term-time, 16.25 hours per week, with a £13.45/hour rate and mileage allowance. We value reliability, teamwork and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Reliable and ready to contribute.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative.
• Previous catering and food-preparation experience is essential.
• Holds a full UK driving licence and is an essential car user.
