Job summary

Blackhorse Primary School in South Gloucestershire is seeking a part-time Lunchbreak Supervisor for 5 hours per week, 12pm-1pm, term time only (INSET days excluded). The role focuses on ensuring pupil safety and positive behaviour during lunch, while working with the lunch staff to support play and routines.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work well in a team, with strong communication and a calm, caring approach to children.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils during lunchtime.
• Supervise and support pupils from 12:00 to 13:00 about play and meal routines.
• Work closely with lunchtime staff and the school team.
• Attend training and professional development as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding guidelines.
