Highfields Primary School in Rowley Regis is seeking a caring Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils. The role involves supervising pupils, assisting with handwashing, escorting to the dining hall, promoting good manners and leading games and enrichment activities.

We value safeguarding and inclusion; the successful candidate will support positive behaviour, wellbeing, and have opportunities to undertake First Aid training. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Has experience of working with primary-aged children, ideally in a school environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to undertake First Aid training.

Responsabilités

• Supervising pupils before, during and after lunch.
• Supporting children with handwashing routines.
• Escorting pupils to and from the dining hall.
• Encouraging good table manners and assisting younger pupils with eating and using cutlery where required.
• Organising and leading playground games and enrichment activities.
• Supporting positive behaviour and ensuring pupils' safety and wellbeing.
• Administering first aid for minor injuries and responding appropriately to emergencies following training.
