Job summary

Blue Coat Infant and Junior Schools Federation is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to help supervise children before, during and after the midday meal. This permanent, term-time role provides 6 hours 15 minutes per week with a pro rata salary of £3,456.

Successful applicants will be caring, patient and team-spirited, able to reinforce school rules and support pupils with meals and playtime, while upholding confidentiality and school policies.

Qualifications

• Be caring, patient and understanding, friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour.
• Have the confidence to reinforce school expectations and follow the Behaviour Policy.
• Work as part of a team and supervise during outside play.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before, during and after the midday meal.
• Encourage sensible behaviour during outdoor play.
• Follow school policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist children with table manners and any practical support needed.
