Job summary

DDAT is seeking a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor for St James C of E Junior School to supervise lunchbreaks and support pupils.

The role is permanent, 9.17 hours per week (11:45am–13:45), term-time only within 39 weeks, with a pro-rata salary of £24,796 for full-time equivalent.

We value teamwork, good communication, and a warm, encouraging approach with children; DBS checks and safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work effectively as a member of the staff team and in possession of good communication and personal skills
• Fun and outgoing to support our pupils play
• Able to uphold our social values

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime provision and ensure a safe, positive environment for pupils
• Be a positive role model and support pupils during playtime
• Promote safeguarding and follow school policies during the lunch period
