Job description

A wonderful live out term time nanny role has become available in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. The family is extremely friendly and enjoy spending time outside with their dog, who is also part of their family. They are looking for a kind, nurturing and fun nanny who can stay long term. They are open to meeting nannies who would like to bring their own child to work with them each day.

You will be looking after two delightful little girls, aged four and one.

The hours will be Monday-Friday, 08.00-17.00 (45 hours), term time only (39 weeks/year). You will be paid evenly across the year. There may also be some ad hoc days and babysitting, but any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (reading, singing, jigsaws, craft, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park – whatever the weather!

As well as carrying out the school run each day, the parents would like the children to attend play dates and groups (music group, library, etc) to allow them to mix with other children, ensuring that they are always happy and safe.

The role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – emptying the dishwasher, running the hoover round, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.

As well as general care of the children and keeping all areas used clean and tidy (kitchen, children’s bedrooms and playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of their laundry.

You will prepare healthy and nutritional meals, homecooked as often as possible. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

This is a fabulous role and would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
