Hursthead Infant School on Kirkstead Rd, Cheadle, SK8 7PZ is seeking a passionate Midday Assistant to join our staff. You will work 5 hours per week during term time, providing support during lunch breaks and assisting with planned activities as part of a supportive team.

The role is permanent with a start date of 12 October 2026. A positive approach to helping children with their learning and well-being is essential, along with contributing to interventions across the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide whole class teaching for pre-planned cover, in addition to supporting individuals and small groups.
• Deliver interventions across the school to support learning and well-being.
