Job summary

The Cambian Group plc is seeking a Lead Teaching Assistant for Bletchley Park School in the UK. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30, term time only, providing support alongside teachers and coordinating TA activities to meet individual needs.

You will support students aged 7–19 with autism and additional needs, contributing to learning activities, progression assessments, and a bespoke timetable, while upholding safeguarding and equal opportunities commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in planning and preparing class work.
• Provide learning activities for students both on and off site.
• Provide opportunities for students to progress with formal learning, self-help skills, life skills and social understanding; assess progress regularly.
• Organise the teaching assistants within class to meet the bespoke timetable needs of each child.
