Holroyd Howe is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at RGS Senior in Guildford. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment within an education setting.

You will support chefs with basic prep, manage dishwashing and hygiene, and uphold allergen controls. Term-time hours (176 days per year) with a pay of £13.60 per hour, plus holiday and benefits.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and understanding of hygiene practices.

• Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls
