Job summary

Brighton Girls (GDST) is recruiting a part-time Food Technician to join the Food and Nutrition team in Brighton. The role focuses on providing practical technical support to teachers and students, ensuring safe, compliant lab operations during term-time.

The successful candidate will work approximately 15 hours per week, during term time, with a start date as soon as possible and a salary of £27,987 FTE (about £9,244 actual pay for part-time).

Qualifications

• Experience in food technology or nutrition settings preferred.
• Ability to follow Health & Safety regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Food and Nutrition Teacher.
• Ensure safe and efficient lab/teaching environments in line with regulations.
• Support students in Food and Nutrition activities during term time.
