Job summary

The Romsey School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Creative Design Technician to support 3D design teaching across the Creative and Technical Faculty. You will prepare materials, set up tools, support lessons and help keep spaces safe, organized and engaging for students.

The role emphasizes practical design work, resource management and collaboration with teachers and pupils to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of creative and 3D design disciplines such as Textiles, Ceramics, CAD/CAM, Sculpture, Product Design and Carpentry.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up materials, tools and equipment for lessons.
• Support teachers and students during practical activities.
• Maintain specialist equipment and ensure resources are stored safely and efficiently.
• Organise stock, undertake inventories and support ordering processes.
• Assist with the development of teaching resources and displays.
• Support educational visits, department events and whole-school activities.
• Help maintain health and safety across teaching areas.
• Collaborate with staff to enhance learning experiences.
