Job summary

Yateley School in Hampshire is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support curriculum delivery by supervising teaching groups during short-term absences. You will deliver pre-planned material, assist students and help maintain classroom behaviour.

This term-time, 39-week role requires availability for 3 fixed days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) 8.30am to 3.10pm. Previous experience in education is desirable and successful candidates will receive induction and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people or students.
• Interest in gaining or continuing secondary school experience.
• Calm, firm and encouraging approach to discipline.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Classroom management and any presentation skills are an advantage.
