Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager for Chippenham College Campus. The role is term-time only with no weekends, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, and 39 weeks per year, offering a stable, school-based environment.

You will prepare and present nutritionally balanced meals, ensure safety and quality standards, and lead site operations. DBS disclosure is expected; strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in running a catering site and managing teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety, food safety and environmental legislations.
• Proven ability to meet client expectations and budgets.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for high standards of food and service.
• Oversee day‑to‑day running, inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Act as main client contact at the school and drive improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets with line manager.
• Train and develop teams, ensuring training completion and performance management.
