Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is recruiting for a Part Time Catering Team Leader at local schools in the area. The role focuses on leading a catering team, adhering to food safety standards and delivering high-quality meals for students, with a term-time-only contract and monthly pay.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and good communication. A full UK driving licence is preferred due to travel between sites, and enhanced DBS clearance is provided by ISS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering supervisory, team leader, or management role is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Food preparation and customer service skills desirable.
• Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, and customer-focused approach.
• Enhanced DBS check will be arranged and covered by ISS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the catering team to deliver excellent food and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, safeguarding, and company policies.
• Deliver high-quality meals in line with menus, dietary requirements, and food standards.
• Build positive relationships with clients, students, and colleagues.
• Manage stock, ordering, food production, and waste control effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting.
