Job summary

Inspire Education Business Partnership is seeking qualified Level 6 Careers Advisers to join our network of self-employed associates. Assignments are delivered mainly in North and East London schools, with some remote delivery, and are term-time only.

You will provide impartial careers information, guidance and progression support to young people, deliver interviews, action plans and workshops, and build strong relationships with schools, students and parents.

Qualifications

• Recent experience delivering careers guidance to young people in secondary schools or colleges.
• An ability to engage with diverse young people and provide clear guidance.
• Strong report-writing and data-recording skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality one-to-one careers guidance interviews with young people.
• Produce personalised action plans and maintain accurate records in line with school requirements.
• Deliver engaging workshops, assemblies and group guidance sessions.
• Support schools in delivering effective careers education and work-related learning.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, school staff and external professionals.
• Contribute to parents' evenings and school events as required.
• Maintain accurate performance data and reporting requirements.
• Record and manage confidential client information on a secure database, adhering to GDPR and procedures.
• Demonstrate safeguarding commitment and promote welfare of children.
