Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the team in Alsager (ST7 2HR). This permanent, part-time role offers 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks), with full training provided.

You will deliver friendly service to students, staff and visitors, prepare beverages and food to brand standards, operate tills, and maintain clean, stocked counters. Training and progression opportunities are available, including apprenticeship schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced catering or hospitality environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn barista skills and beverage standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional and efficient customer service to students, staff and visitors.
• Prepare and serve Starbucks hot and cold beverages to required brand standards.
• Serve food, snacks and other products across the catering operation.
• Operate tills and process cash/card transactions accurately.
• Maintain clean, attractive and fully stocked counters, displays and service areas.
• Replenish and rotate stock and assist with deliveries.
• Follow food safety, allergen, Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation, including general cleaning duties.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Work as part of the wider catering team and support other college catering areas and general duties as required.
