Job summary

Aureus Primary School in Didcot is hiring term-time playworkers to join our breakfast and after-school club. You can work either the morning session (7:20am - 8:40am) or the afternoon session (3:00pm - 5:35pm), or both, with preference noted on application.

Salary is £25,618 full-time equivalent, hourly rate £13.65. Start ASAP; closing date 15th September 2026 at 9.30am. We offer a supportive GLF Schools community with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children.
• Ability to engage and inspire children through activities.
• Adaptable and resourceful in a wraparound provision.

Responsibilities

• Help create a fun and caring environment in breakfast and after-school clubs.
• Support morning and/or afternoon sessions as required.
• Uphold the school values and ethos and ensure child safety.
