Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting enthusiastic breakfast and after-school club play workers to join a consortium of primary schools in Haringey.

This role offers flexible, ad-hoc hours with shifts across breakfast and after-school sessions. As a play worker you will help create a safe, engaging environment, lead or support structured play and snacks, and build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Flexible, proactive and reliable approach.
• Understanding and respect for the diverse communities within Haringey.
• First Aid training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the daily running of the wraparound provision
• Leading or assisting with structured play, creative activities and games
• Ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged
• Helping with breakfast, tea and snack routines
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
