Responsibilities

• Assist with food production and service, ensuring an efficient workflow and high-quality meal preparation.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipe specifications, menu requirements, and quality standards while minimising waste.
• Delegate tasks, supervise General Assistants, and train new employees on food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, allergen regulations, and company food safety policies, including accurate record keeping.
• Track inventory levels, complete stock checks, place orders, and manage stock rotation to reduce waste and control costs.
• Handle customer enquiries, dietary requirements, and complaints professionally while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Assist the Chef Manager in managing food costs, achieving gross profit targets, and maintaining waste levels within the 5% target.
• Maintain production records.
