Job summary

PT Renewables in Sheffield is seeking a Tendering Engineer to own the bid process for MV and LV switchgear, turning enquiries into winning offers and working closely with Sales, Procurement, Engineering and Production to land the best solution.

You will validate viability, shape the bid strategy to improve win rates, review terms, and negotiate final specifications with contractors, end users and OEMs. The role is hybrid with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering (MV/LV).
• Solid technical grounding in electrical switchgear features and limitations.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial and technical offers across switchgear to win orders.
• Assess enquiries and build competitive strategies for offers.
• Review tender T&Cs and negotiate specifications with stakeholders.
